GoodBuyVrations started with one truck, one storage unit and a simple observation: a huge amount of perfectly good furniture gets returned to major retailers every week, and almost none of it can go back on the sales floor. We buy it, clean it, grade it honestly and pass the savings on.
We're a licensed California business, and we live here too — you'll see our truck around Bixby Knolls, Belmont Shore and the East Side most days of the week. The name is a play on "good buy" and "good vibrations," because furniture shopping should feel sunny, not stressful.
Better than the landfill
Returned furniture is bulky, hard to restock and expensive to store, so a lot of it is destroyed. Every sectional we rescue is roughly 200 pounds of foam, fabric and hardwood that stays out of a Southern California landfill — and one less new piece that has to be built and shipped.
